Rachel Weidensaul- Performance Coach and Softball/Basketball Instructor

Rachel served as an assistant coach with the Albright women’s basketball team from 2008-12. Aside from coaching the women’s basketball team, Rachel also served as an assistant coach for the Albright softball team in the spring of 2012. Beyond her collegiate coaching, Rachael has  also served as the director of the Academic Enrichment Camp, PHEAA-CAPS Program, Hispanic Enrichment Camp, Albright Women’s Basketball Team Camp, and an Athletic Event Manager for Albright College.

Prior to becoming a coach, Rachel spent four years as a multi-sport athlete at Kutztown University, graduating with a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing in 2008 and an M.B.A in 2010. During her time as a student-athlete, she was a four-year scholarship starter for the Golden Bears, earning All-PSAC Second Team her senior year, and helped the 2005-06 team advanced to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Final Four. In addition to basketball, Rachel was also a four-year member of the softball team at Kutztown, earning All-PSAC Honors as a starting pitcher with a 43-22 career record, including eight shutouts.
