BET Intermediate (Ages 12-15)
*Strength classes ONLY available to ages 14+*
Considered by most highly-accredited strength and conditioning institutions as the “critical” age for sports-specific muscular development, coordination, and agility; BET takes special care with our intermediate age group in program design and implementation. We have developed and ever-evolving program that teaches challenges and reinforces what we have previously instilled in our youth group while increasing workload, intensity, and precision. Here, we hone in more on your young athletes sports-specific movements and mechanisms.
This is the age group at which we “open the door” to true strength/resistance training. Our performance coaches, who are skilled in program design, supervise every strength training session, and proper technique is always taught, reinforced, and required. Resistance training helps to improve motor control and strength by “teaching” muscles how to work together in a coordinated manner.*
We then add application to these newly developed muscle groups by applying sport specific movements to the curriculum.
